Ordering and shipping information

SmaltiAustralia.com accepts orders from within Australia and New Zealand only. Other international customers should visit smalti.com.

All prices are shown in Australian dollars. Click 'New Zealand prices' for prices without GST for NZ customers

We use an easy shopping cart system.  Most items can be ordered in 100g, 500g or 1 Kg bags.  A drop-down is provided to select the colour you want.  If you order something by mistake or change your mind click the View Cart button and remove the item.  From there you can continue shopping or check out. If we are out of an item please do not order it; we can let you know when it comes in or you can select an alternate. We do not backorder.

Returns policy. We will accept returns of more than 500gms per colour at customer postal expense, and will issue a credit voucher for the corresponding amount. Returns will be calculated according to the original quantity ordered and rounded down to the nearest 500gms. So if you ordered 1kg, and returned 540gm, you will be credited for 50% of the 1kg price, not the 500gm price. This will be discounted proportionately if there was a volume discount on the original order.

Large Order discounts. Orders over $500 will receive a 10% discount, over $1000 12.5% discount. There are no colour minimums. Also there is a loyalty program. At the end of each three month period (first one is end of Sep 2010) all orders in that period of less than $500 are totalled, and if they qualify for a large order discount this will be issued as a gift voucher. That way the discount can still apply to an overall spend as well as a single large order.

Orders will be shipped the next working day after payment has been received. We use Parcel Post within Australia. If you have an urgent order select the Express postage option. We use air mail for NZ customers.

If payment is not received within 3 weeks, the order will be cancelled and the customer notified.

Sample Boards

For a look at the full range and to help you in planning, SmaltiAustralia sells sample boards which comprise two pieces each of our full range of smalti (excluding the colour blends), and glass pebble samples.

Free single samples of smalti (postage cost only) may also be requested before ordering.
